Valentine's Day Fayre

Many thanks to all that turned out to support our fayre on Saturday 13th February at Croft school.  People in the refreshment area were treated to performances from the junior band, including solos from Evelin Dunger and Laura Gee.  There was also lots of stalls, and card making to keep all entertained.  The afternoon raised £220 profi t of which half will be put into the fund for the Disneyland Paris trip in May. We will be holding another fayre on Saturday 10th April at the St John's Ambulance Hall, Brunel Rd, Hinckley.  Look out for more details.

Richard Warren Tribute Concert

On Saturday 27th March we will be holding the long awaited Tribute concert.  There will be no charge for tickets but we are asking all audience members for a donation, all donations will then go to the British Heart Foundation.  The concert will include performances from Croft Silver Band, Croft Junior Band, The Richard Warren Tribute Band, which consists of past and old friends of Richard and the Band.  If you are interested in coming along then please contact Ray as soon as possible.

Jodie Parsons

It is with regret we have to announce that Jodie has decided to leave the Band. Jodie has been with us for over 8 years, starting as a learner and working her way through the cornet section up to front row. Jodie has also played Soprano and Percussion when the need has arisen.

We will miss her but thank her for her commitment and effort over the years, and wish her all the best.

New Players

We would like to welcome Richard Stannard, who joins the Euphonium department in the Senior Band, and also Jamie Payne who joins us on Solo Trombone in the Senior Band.

We are still looking for cornet players to join us, if your interested then please get in touch.
